I am the Principal Music Teacher at AV MUSIC LESSONS delivering education in:
- Singing, Voice and Piano/Keyboard,
- Performance and Microphone techniques,
- Musicianship, Theory, VCE & AMEB exam preparation

I have been singing & dancing since I was 9 years old and learnt to play the piano/keyboard since I was 8. I have a real passion for music and have been a Vocal Instructor & Voice Technician since 2009 Coaching and mentoring Singers & Songwriters . I have been trained in Speech Level Singing (a technique used by over 100's Grammy Award winners) by International Leading Instructors from the USA who have trained artists as Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Demi Lovato (to name a few), as well as Bel Canto techniques (that well known opera singers have used for many years), and Emotion Centered singing (in the style of Chicago Gospel Choir) & AMEB (Australian Music Examination Board).
I have been nicknamed by some of my students as the voice doctor, vocal coach extraordinaire, voice therapist, although I do not claim to be any of these, I always strive to deliver excellence in my approach to having my students become the best singers they can be and using the correct techniques to get there.
Some of my fellow colleagues and previous vocal coaches have commented on my performances as being a phenomenal singer, with a beautiful and powerful voice, their words not mine. I was very shy when I was a child and because of this my mother enrolled me for singing and dance lessons to grow my self-confidence, and I have never looked back since!
I am a Singer/Songwriter and have performed and recorded original songs in recording studios both as a solo artist and with bands.
My influences are Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Prince, Alicia Keys, Ella Fitzgerald, to name a few, as well as all the greats in Music history from Motown to rock, pop, funk, soul, jazz, blues, Rnb music and dance.

TEACHING / MUSIC INDUSTRY BACKGROUND:
A qualified Music Educator & Trainer, both locally and internationally trained Voice Instructor with a Degree in Music, Certificate IV Trainer, Assessor & Educator (TAE), Master Fitness Trainer (PT & Groups), and a Certificate of Education Support-Teacher Aide & Integration Aide, through Monash University, Melbourne.
A well-rounded educator with a current Working With Children check with experience in several private music teaching schools in Melbourne who has also worked for RTO’s (Registered Training Organisations) as a qualified Workplace Trainer & Assessor since 2005, having prepared, facilitated, consulted and delivered traineeships, workshops, focus groups and managed caseloads of hundreds of clients and students.
As a Coach, Mentor, Tutor & Trainer, with more than 20 years background experience in the music industry, delivering education since 2005, having been mentored and educated by some of the very best in the business, since the late 1970’s-80’s aged 9yrs, from Bel Canto Classical in Voice training through to Speech Level Singing techniques (over 100 Grammy Award Winners) since 2009, Anna has been inspired to follow her passions and become the Voice and Piano Teacher she is today, providing support and encouragement to students, in a fun and welcoming environment, allowing for individual personal expression to shine through.
After several years of having worked for other private music schools, and encouragement from students, peers and mentors, she completed a Certificate IV in New Small Business Management and has been managing her own school of music ever since.
